Units

This command defines the units for the current document.

Creation Stages / Use:

From the document Options tree, unfold the General node and double click on the Units... node.

  1. Choose the units for angles (degree by default).

  2. Choose the units for length (millimeters for default).

  3. Choose the unit for area (millimeters squared by default).

  4. Choose the unit for volume (millimeters cubed by default).

  5. Choose the unit for density (kilogram per decimeters cubed by default).

  6. Choose the unit for mass (kilogram by default).

  7. Choose the unit for moment in inertia (kilogram millimeter squared by default).

The Pitch menu allows you to define the incrementing of the handles during operations. For example, during the extrusion, the incrementing of the values of the handle will occur depending on the values defined for the linear pitch. (by default, from 5mm to 5mm).

  1. Choose the value of the linear pitch (5mm by default).

  2. Choose the value of the fine linear pitch (0.1mm by default). The fine pitch is used for functions requiring small incrementing (sheet metal thickness, hollow, drilling diameter, etc.).

  3. Choose the value of the angular pitch (5° by default). The angular pitch is used for functions using an angle (turn, bend, flange, etc.).

  4. Choose the value for the fine angular pitch (1° by default). The fine angular pitch is used for the functions requiring small incrementing for the angle (draft, etc.).
