Intersection |
The Intersection command allows you to create the intersection curve between one (or several) face(s) of a shape and the sketch plane.
Creation stages / Use:
Click the icon or select the 2D Sketch > Other Modifications > Intersection... command from the drop-down menu.
Select the sketch's support plane.
Select the intersection type.

creates all intersection curves between a shape and the sketch plane. |

creates intersection curves between several faces and the sketch plane.
|
Select the shape or faces, depending on the option chosen above.
Validate the creation of the intersection curve with the button.

Example of intersection between the axis of a cylindrical face and the sketch plane, the intersection point is displayed in red in the center of the picture.

Modifications / Additional information:
The intersection constraints created by this command can be edited, then you will be able to choose new geometries.
