During the creation of an element or an operation, TopSolid gives them automatically a name by default (Sketch 1, Pocket 1,...), this command allows an element or an operation to be renamed.
Creation Stages / Use:
This command is accessible only from a popup menu that displays after selecting an element.
Enter the new name of the element or operation.
Validate the new name with the button.

The name has to start with a letter and end with a letter or a number. |

Names are unique and managed per document, two elements cannot have the same name within the same document. |
Modifications / Additional information:
Generally, it is preferable to keep to simple names made up of letters and numbers possibly separated by a space or a dash.
The following characters are not allowed in names: = & ~ " # { ( [ | ` ^ @ ) ] ° ¤ % $ * ! §: ; ? < > € ±
All the names starting with the character $ are names reserved for TopSolid.
