Surface Sheet Metal

This command allows you to transform a solid sheet metal part into a surface one. Only the selected side of the part will be kept. The surface will keep the sheet metal part properties, it will be possible to apply sheet metal dedicated commands to this surface part.

Creation stages / Use:

Click the icon or select Strip > Surface Sheet Metal... command from the drop-down menu.

Choose the side to keep.
Validate .

Available options:

Surface Sheet Metal:

Face on side to keep: It allows you to choose the sheet metal part side to keep.

Modifications / Additional information:

It is possible to create a strip with surface station shapes.

This command is only available in Station preparation stage and in Modeling stage.
