  1. Choose the margin to apply.

  2. Activate or not the collisions control.

  3. Validate .

Both Margin and Collision Control modes work together or not:

  • It is possible to display the safety margin without collisions control.

  • It is possible to control the collisions of the circuit without displaying the safety margin (but taking in account its value).

  • Finally, the collisions control can be applied on the circuit with displaying the margin.

Available options:

  • Safety Margin: This option defines the margin of safety to be displayed around the cooling drillings. This margin is defined at the radius. .

The Margin is the delta to the diameter of the cooling circuit.

  • Collisions with parts: Tests the collisions with the parts non operated by the circuit.

  • Collisions with holes : Tests the collisions with the different holes present in the operated parts.

  • Intersections: If two shapes collide, the common part is shown in red if the option is checked. If the option is unchecked, the collisions are marked by a red cross.

  • Dynamic: This mode makes it possible to calculate the collision control dynamically, during segment dragging of the circuit for example.

Modifications / Additional information:

  • Activations of the safety margin and collisions control, are not preserved at the exit of the sketch.

  • The last selected settings are kept.
