Sketchup Import Options

This command allows you to define the different import options of the Sketchup file.

The Sketchup file which contains a lot of triangles is converted as a TopSolid file. Each triangle becomes a surface. It is possible to work on this imported file (sew, add fillets, drillings, ...)

Sews facets and sewing tolerance: Allows you to sew facets together. Triangulated faces importation is performed in two phases. One phase for face translation and one phase for sewing. this second phase may be very long but you are able to deactivate it by unckecking this option.
Unit: Allows to select the unit of the imported document.

A Sketchup file is composed of triangles. It will always be facetised.
A Sketchup file contains a lot of triangles (easily several hundreds of thousands or some millions). This operation requires system ressources and may continue for a long time regarding the file size and checked options.
Textures are also imported.
