Control point style

This command allows a customized control point style to be created. This style will then be able to be used when creating a Control point note.

Control point style means the configuration of the note (information relative to the chosen point and its linked electrode).

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

Choose the Tools > Styles > Control point Style... command from the drop-down menu.

 

  1. Specify a name for this new control point style.

  2. Specify the base style on which to rely to create the new style (the settings of this basic style will be those proposed by default when creating the new style).

  3. Check different rubrics to be able to edit their style and to modify them.

  4. Validate by clicking .

 

 

The modification of a drilling note style used as the basic style by another style will automatically cause the latter to be modified.

 

 

Available options:

 

 

  • Geometry : Allows you to select the point to dimension.

  • Base style : This option allows you to choose the Control point style template. It is also possible to edit the chosen style to modify:

  • The Position of the entering rectangle:

    • By dragging one of the blue points, the frame can be increased following X and Y. By dragging a side of this rectangle, it can be moved following this direction.

    • The text width is limited to the rectangle border, then it continues to the following line, but if the rectangle is resized, the text is resized.

    • To force the text to be multi-lines without regarding the rectangle size, use CTRL + ENTER keys.

    • A double-click edits the created text.

  • The parameters which can be displayed in the note are chosen by clicking the icon:

    • Electrode name, Gap name, Origin frame.

    • Gap value, X coordinate, Y coordinate, Z coordinate.

    • When a text parameter is used, its value is displayed on a gray background. Its value automatically changes if the parameter changes.

    • It is possible to double-click this parameter to add prefix/suffix or change its format (number of digits, unit, ...).

    • During the text entering, click needed buttons to change colors or add text parameters.

  • Projection line : With choosing this option, it is possible to create the note with a projection line :

  •  On point

  •  or None.

 

 

Allows you to define the framing of the note and its line color.

  • Framing: Allows you to frame the note. possible frames are: None, Underlined, Framed, Flagged.

  • Color: To use another color, select the color cell and select a new one to use. To remove this color, use the icon.

  • Layer: Assign a layer to the element. The layer can be created on the fly by clicking the button.

 

 

  • Extremities:

  • Symbol : Choose the extremity symbol in the list.

  • Arrow length : Give the length of the extremity arrow.

  • Arrow angle : Give the angle of the extremity arrow.

  • Circle diameter : If the extremity is a circle, choose its diameter.

  • Local attributes : These options allows you to determine the attributes of each note components, framing, arrow, projection line...
