Control Point

This command allows you to add a significative point on an electrode. This point will be projected in drafting and could be dimensioned taking in account the chosen electrode gap, with the Control point command in drafting.

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

Click the icon or select the Electrode > Control point... command from the drop-down menu.

 

  1. Determine the dimensioning origin of this point.

  2. Create a control point.

  3. Validate .

 

 

 

The control point is added to the detailed representation of the electrode part. It will be visible by default in the detail view of the electrode. In the global view of the electrode document, it will not be visible. It still possible to add manually these points to the detailed representation in the electrode document.

 

 

Available options:

 

 

  • Origin : It is possible to choose the origin frame of the created point. Two choices are available:

  • Shape to erode origin.

  • EDM Frame.

  • Point : The created point is like a Point on surface.
