Projected annotations |
This command allows you to project annotations (dimensions, tolerance references, tolerances, ...) in a view of the template document.
Creation stages / Use:
Click the icon or select
the Detailing > Projected annotations...
command from the drop-down menu.
Select the view in which to project annotations.
Select the annotation type (All, tolerance annotations, or modeling dimensions).
Select the dimension style to use
Select the datum feature style to use (except if you only project modeling dimensions).
Select the geometric tolerance style to use (except if you only project modeling dimensions).
Validate by clicking .
An annotation can be moved to another view by pressing and holding down the SHIFT key and dragging it to the desired view. However, make sure that this modification is consistent (a depth dimension cannot be on a front view). The destination view must have an operation of projected annotation and the plane of the annotation must not be perpendicular to the plane of the destination view. The typical example is the case of a perspective view with a projected with the option "Parallel to the projection plane". |

Advanced options:
Annotations to project:
|
|
Track 3D Positions:
|
If this option is checked, the position of annotations is defined by the 3D document. In this case, to move the annotation to the view, open the projected document (part, assembly, ...) and move the annotation to this document. |
Modifications / Additional information:
All modifications are available from the popup menu of the projected annotation.
