This command allows you to mask the geometries of a view.

Creation stages / Use:

Select Hide Geometries ... from the popup menu from the view.

  1. Select the different geometries to mask.

  2. Validate.

  • In the drafting of an assembly document, if the segment to mask is common to 2 parts (when the 2 parts are in contact), the 2 segments must be selected by rotating selection (one on each part).

  • You can only mask geometries when the drafting document is in the  exact mode. If the drafting document is in the quick mode, switching to exact mode will be suggested.

When geometries have been masked, you switch to quick mode, the masked geometries will be displayed again. They will be masked again while activating the exact mode.

Available Options:

The box allows to hide selected entities during the use of the command, to be able to select other entities more easily, especially those who were behind.

Modifications / Additional information:

To show masked geometries or to add new ones, you can relaunch the Hide Geometries command or edit the Masking operation of the view from the operation tree.

The masked geometries will be temporary displayed again and you'll be able to select them again (in order to unselect them) or to select new ones.
