Dimension

The command Dimension allows your draft to be dimensioned.

Creation stages:

Select the Detailing > Dimension... command from the drop-down menu.

Select the first geometry. By clicking the "+", it is possible to create an intersection point, an extreme point or an intersection point "on the fly".
Select the second geometry (if necessary).
Select the dimension style to use.
Position the dimension.

When creating a dimension between 2 points, it is possible to select a reference direction.
By selecting 2 times the same point, a null dimension is created. The value can then be replaced by a text.
By clicking only a point and positioning the dimension, you obtain a coordinate dimension.
For dimension texts, there is a snap to capture characteristic points (center, left, right, ...) during its displacement. By using the "Alt" key when moving the text, the snap is deactivated.
To add dimension on facetted shape, it is possible to activate in Visualization, a mode Facetted Shape Vertex Selection.
