Bill of material index |
This command allows dimension index to be created in your draft document.
Creation stages:
Click the icon or select the Detailing > Bill of material index... command from the drop-down menu.
Select the reference bill of materials.
Select the part to be indexed.
Select the index style to use.

The part must be only in one line of the BOM to be displayed in a bill of material index. If there is many lines for the same part in the Bill of material, a question mark "?" will be displayed. |
Available Options:
Assembly level:

When the selected part belong to a sub-assembly, the Edit... button allows you to navigate inside the tree structure of the sub-assembly in order to be able to choose the desired element. This navigation can also be done thanks to the Shift key. |
Angle:

This option allows you to indicate the texts rotation angle of the index. |
Additional leaders:
When creating or modifying a manual or automatic index, this section makes it possible to index the same part several times. When arrows are added to other elements, the text of the index is then highlighted in yellow to indicate that it has been forced. |
Format:
To use a framing other than that offered by default, select the cell Framing the select the appropriate icon. Decorations are available: None, Underlined, Framed or Circled. Except the type None, a margin can be specified
Allows to adjust a distance between the text and its frame.
If this option is activated, the arrow origine is on the center of the text enclosing box and it is limited by its frame.
Select the color of the index text by clicking the button. The pipet allows to select an existing color, the black cross to remove the chosen color.
Assign a layer to indexes. The layer can be created on the fly by clicking the "+". |

Modifications:
To modify an existing bill of material index, simply right-click and select Edit. You will then be able to modify the reference part .
To delete all automatic index from a view, open the operations tree and unfold the affected view. You will find the "Auto Index" operation that you can delete by right-clicking on it.
