This command allows to modify the update mode of one (or several) slave part(s).

Creation stages / Use:

In an assembly document, this command is available from the contextual menu of the Tools > Master Parts... command.

In a part document, this command is available from the contextual menu of the Slave Part node displayed in the entities tree.

1. Choose the update mode of the slave part:

• Automatic: when the "master" part is modified in the assembly, the slave part is immediately modified.

• Manual: when the "master" part is modified in the assembly, the update of the slave part must be done manually: either with the Tools > Master Parts... command from the assembly document, or with the contextual command "Rebuid slave part document" from the slave part node in the entities tree of the master part.

• Warning: when the "master" part is modified in the assembly, the slave part is automatically updated while saving the assembly document and a notification message is displayed.

• Forbidden: when the "master" part is modified in the assembly, the slave part is not automatically updated while saving the assembly document and an information message is displayed. The slave part document must be updated manually.

2. Confirm the creation of the slave part with the button.
