Process rules

This document allows to associate a non-local process (created from a function document) with a wizard and/or a family document. All this document must use the same function document.

user can set which process to use as default according to a wizard/family.

Creation stages / Use:

Create a new document by clicking on , then choose in Special tab.

Select the Rules or Subcomponents Rules according to its use (simple component or assembly component with subcomponents).
Select the Add button to choose a function document.
If needed, double click into the Wizard field to select a wizard using this function.
If needed, double click into the Family field to select a family using this function.
Select the process to use.

To delete a rule, select the function and press the Remove button.
When several rules are similar (for example both have a wizard, but only one has a family), the most precise rule will be used (in this case, it is the rule with the family).

To use this rule in a project, right click on the Favorites folder of this project and select the Process Rules command.
