Occurrence bom index

This command allows to control the BOM index of parts from the assembly document.

Creation stages / Use:

Select the Modeling > Occurrence bom index... command from the drop-down menu.

Check the Occurence bom index cell.
Enter the index value.
Select parts to use.

The components linked to a part are grouped together in a BOM: for example, you can apply the index 101 to all the M5x30 screws inserted into the plate with index number 100, apply the index 201 to all the M5x30 screws inserted into the plate with index number 200, etc

To remove an occurrence bom index on a part, uncheck the Occurrence bom index box, select the part(s) and validate.

Hide:

This option allows to hide the selected elements (it can helps to the selection of other shapes that could be hidden by the shapes already selected).

Modifications / Additional information:

The index of parts indexed in this way is displayed in square brackets in the Parts folder of the Entities tree.
It is shown on a green background in the bill of material. You can change this color in the Bom page of the Tools > Options command.
An index can also be forced directly in a bill of material by selecting a part in the list and checking the Occurrence index option.
