BOOST: Pocketing using the BOOST strategy allows to limit the rate variations of the material removal, the feed rate and the chip width. The goal is essentially to elimitate from the tool path the sharp angles as well as the passages in full material.
This strategy makes sure that the tool is not overloaded. It is so possible to choose a faster feed rate and a bigger depth of cut in order to reduce the machining time. The tool path will be composed by parallel lines, concentric circles and trochoids (successive circles with sifted centers).
