This command allows to force the values of family drivers with default values defined in the assembly where the family will be included.

 

Creation stages / Use:

 

Select the Tools > Drivings > Default drivers... command from the drop-down menu.

 

  1. Select the family driving document to use.

  2. Enter a default value for each parameter.

 

 

 

Including a family with drivers in an assembly document, the default values of the drivers correspond to the parameters values in the generic document.

This command allows to specify a value other than the one in the generic. We can then include the component with different default values depending on the assembly in which it is inserted.

 

 

Family to include must reference the same Family driving document.
